MONOMUSE is a collection I created during a challenging time in my life. Feeling overwhelmed drawing for work, I find myself wanting to draw something simple, beautiful, and uplifting. I turned to drawing people that I find charming and beautiful, a process that relaxed me and rekindled my joy in art. Through this process, I realized for me drawing is a form of self-care. I wanted to capture this feeling in this series and hope the artwork serves as a reminder for others to take a break and prioritize self-care. Thus in this series people are portrayed doing relaxing activities like drinking warm drinks, listening to music, chilling in a pool, etc.
Remember, it’s important to take a break and do something you love. Make time for yourself, you deserve it.
